Meet Karen
Karen Clarke is an experienced Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, Nutritionist and Trainer with a strong clinical focus on adult neurological conditions, swallowing difficulties and communication disorders.

Based in Launceston, Tasmania, Karen provides in-clinic and telehealth services for adults across Tasmania and Australia. She supports individuals experiencing changes with swallowing, speech, voice and communication associated with progressive neurological and neurological.

Her approach combines evidence-based speech pathology and nutrition with compassionate, person-centred care. Karen understands that swallowing, communication and nutritional challenges can affect confidence, independence, relationships and overall quality of life. Therapy is therefore tailored to each person’s goals, daily activities and stage of life.
Karen is certified in both SPEAK OUT!® and LSVT LOUD® programs for Parkinson’s disease and related neurological conditions. She also provides swallowing assessments, mealtime management plans, dysphagia support and education for families, disability providers and aged care teams.

Qualifications:
Karen is a Qualified Certified Speech Pathologist (CPSP), Nutritionist, ex-Teacher and trainer. Speech Pathology Australia Member & ATMS Member. Working with Vulnerable People or Children Check, Police Check, NDIS Worker Check. Working with NDIS plan and self-managed clients only. Member of SPA, British Laryngology Society, European Society for Swallowing Disorders (ESSD).
